NFPL’s Conflict Resolution Process
“Conflict” is defined as: an active disagreement between parties with opposing viewpoints or opinions that has the potential to disrupt normal business.
At Northland Forest Products Ltd (NFPL), attempts will be made to be sensitive to the concerns and needs of others; we are open to hearing opposing viewpoints. It is possible, however, that some concerns will result in conflict. In such cases NFPL will follow a 5 step process to resolve conflicts as they arise.
As Northland Forest Products Ltd. is still required to meet the economic needs of its business while operating within the bounds of the FMA area Operating Ground Rules and Alberta legislation it is also necessary to note that not all conflicts can be resolved and potentially not all needs will be met.
