We Take Safety Seriously

Northland Forest Products Ltd. (NFPL) is committed to a continuous improvement health and safety program designed to focus on the prevention of injuries. Through the Alberta Forest Products Association, Northland Forest Products Ltd. participates in the Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program with the Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB). This program is based on the concept that when employers and workers build effective health and safety systems, the human and financial costs of workplace injuries and illnesses can be reduced.

The constant evolution of the program requires ongoing training, support and participation of employees at all levels and others engaged by Northland Forest Products Ltd.

NFPL maintains a valid Health and Safety Certificate of Recognition (COR) and is FORESTCARE® Certified.
